Best grilled lamb ribs we had in the Saranda restaurants. Was so fresh and stoodout as some of the best we've had anywhere. Nice simple restaurant we are several times, every time had at least one order of lamb ribs.

Dining at Taste of the South in Saranda was a memorable experience that exceeded our expectations. We visited for dinner and, to our surprise, found the restaurant pleasantly quiet and uncrowded, which made for a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere—an unexpected bonus in a popular tourist area. It’s the kind of place you hope more people will discover, as it truly deserves wider recognition for its quality and hospitality. We ordered three dishes: the creamy shrimp, bruschetta, and a baked white cheese dish. Each one was outstanding: The creamy shrimp came in a rich, velvety sauce that was perfectly seasoned and generously portioned. The shrimp were tender and fresh, and the dish was topped with a light grating of cheese, adding extra depth to the flavor. The bruschetta was served on thick, toasted slices of bread, piled high with a vibrant mix of diced tomatoes, cucumbers, and herbs, all finished with a sprinkle of cheese. The freshness of the ingredients and the crunch of the bread made it a standout starter. The baked white cheese dish was warm and comforting, featuring soft, creamy cheese baked with sliced green peppers and tomatoes, lightly seasoned with herbs. The combination of flavors and textures was both satisfying and unique. In addition to the excellent food, we appreciated the convenience of being able to pay by card, which is not always a given in the region. Taste of the South accepts credit cards, making the payment process smooth and hassle-free for visitors. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. With generous portions, authentic flavors, and a welcoming environment, Taste of the South is a fantastic choice for dinner in Saranda. We highly recommend it and hope it gains the recognition it deserves as more people discover this hidden gem.

Great experience! Delicious food, warm atmosphere, and amazing service. At the end of my meal, they surprised me with fresh watermelon for free – such a nice touch. Highly recommended!

WOW! If you are in Saranda go to this place. Such good food, huge portions. We had stuffed Squid and casserole with pasta. Both delicious but too much food for the two of us so took some home! Definitely recommend
